Group Therapy

Group therapy can help you to explore issues surrounding relationships and social presentation; including anxiety, people-pleasing, assertiveness, and image. Group therapy can be a wonderful thing to add on to individual therapy, or to pursue on its own. Members can see how others handle similar issues, get supportive feedback, and explore questions they’ve been wondering about β€œwhat people really think.” You might be surprised to hear, we laugh and have a lot of fun even while going to some deep places. My groups are an affordable option to support mental health access for all.

I currently run two separate sections of group. To qualify for group you must be 18+, have a history of depression and/or anxiety issues, and be able to commit to a majority of sessions. The group therapy format allows you the opportunity to better understand yourself by connecting with others who are addressing similar issues. In group you can process sensitive or confusing issues, practice self-expression, and get feedback from others in a safe and gentle setting. The tone of my groups is one of support, exploration, and a willingness to help each other.

Please contact me for a free consultation session to talk about group and see if it’s a fit for you.
