  Who I am

Hi, I’m Hannah!

I help people understand their patterns of depression and low self-confidence, so that they can go further in their career, relationships, and personal development. We might be a good fit if you struggle with:

  • Difficulty seeing a better future for yourself

  • Procrastination

  • Looping, repetitive thoughts

  • Anxiety that keeps you from doing what will help you most

  • Traumatic past circumstances that continue to affect you in the present day

My background is in nonprofit services and housing. In this sector I became curious about the mental health issues that my clients often faced, and which seemed to undercut every other success when not addressed. I have a broad base of training including in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, and inclusivity in trauma treatment.

Austin has been home since 2006. I completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Texas. Originally from central Maine, I am now thoroughly hooked on Texas sunshine! When not in my office, you might find me enjoying the creekside trails of the Greenbelt, writing and reading, or tinkering with a new craft project.

I am happy to chat on the phone if you are curious to find out if we are a good fit before beginning therapy, or if you have questions about appointment availability, payment, etc.
